Kristen V. Cahill is an interior decorator and art advisor. Her work is informed by and reflective of two decades of experience in several creative disciplines, from fashion and design to art.
Kristen’s design approach is inspired by art, which is always a focal point in her interiors work. Each space tells the story of her clients’ personality and passions; no two spaces look the same. With a sophisticated, minimalist and modern vision, Kristen either curates collections to complement an environment or designs a room around existing artwork.
Before starting her own design firm, she worked with Peace Design and Tim Hobby Design on national, high-end residential projects. Kristen also spent ten years in the fashion industry working with Calvin Klein, Barneys New York, Saks Fifth Avenue, KCD and up-and-coming designers.
Kristen has been an advisory board member of Atlanta Celebrates Photography since 2008. In 2012, she curated and produced the single U.S. showing of Lightscapes an exhibition of the collaboration between fashion designer Dries Van Noten and photographer James Reeve. She also served on the board of Flux Projects from 2010-2015, where she spearheaded a 2015 Nick Cave original performance piece, Up Right Atlanta.
